The SensoremTek founders are seasoned veterans of entrepreneurship who have a long history of association with semiconductor industries. The founders recognized recent changes in the landscape of semiconductor industries and its growth, especially countries including USA and India embarked on establishing and achieving self-reliance on semiconductor technology and product. The founders recognized the new opportunity arising over the horizon and realized Malaysia is not a stranger to semiconductor industry and therefore Malaysia also should capitalize in this newly developing opportunity. The founders recognized Malaysia’s earlier mistake not developing the semiconductor eco system and decided to develop the front-end part.
To accelerate the process, the founders established a Joint Venture with a company in USA. This company has been developing multiple acoustic sensor products such as silicon microphone, silicon Microspeaker and BAW sensor. The company holds several US granted patents and some international patents in the above-mentioned products. The founders of this company also expertise in other sensors such as pressure, accelerometer, thermopile array etc. The team offer a best match to SensoremTek founders thrust to fulfill their wish to establish IC-MEMS sensor industry and which align and contribute to Malaysia’s National Directive to develop Semiconductor eco system.
